Can someone please post some install pics of the pioneer 9000r? I would like to install it myself with a little help from CL. Do you wire the 9000r from the harness that is plugged into the factory amp or do you run the wiring from the harnesses in the dash? If you run the wires from the amp harness, what do you do with the harnesses that were plugged into the headunit? I plan on placing the pioneer 6010 6.5 in monitor in place of the factory radio? And last but not least how hard is it to run new wiring from the doors to the 9000r if it is placed in the trunk? I posted this thread on the electronics group but with no replies.....Any help from the sc group would graciously be appreciated thanks

You should mount your AVM-P9000R in a location that has all the speaker and power wires, such as where your factory amp in now located. Also within distance of the AVD-W6010 external box where you will plug the 4' wire going between the AVM and AVD box. Of course the 9000 is a larger unit and mounting behind dash might be difficult.

so just unhooking the harnesses from the factory radio and leaving them the way they are is a good idea,
i just want to make sure im not missing something before i go and start taking things out
