I need some advice

I have $1000 and want to add a DVD/CD/TV TUNER system in my 99 Gs300

I like a FLIP OUT IN DASH system and want more bangs for the bucks,

PLEASE HELP!



oops and something that will work with the STOCK CD CHANGER in the LEX

 

You would need to ATLEAST double your budget to get what you want. A quality flip top headunit would cost you in the mid 1k range. Save and get the good stuff. Also I do not believe if you go aftermarket, the stock changer would work anymore. When I have my IVA-C800 installed, the changer I had to switch to alpine too. Save up and don't go cheap on your lex.

 

I agree.
I just drop ~2K on a alpine IVA-D900, worth every $. Pic quality is better then I thought.
I save $ on the install. did it myself.

I just got KENWOOD KVT 911 with 2 PYLE 6inch head rest INSTALLED for $2200

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE IT...we were thinkin about getting something for the car and today after consulting CL I went to an authorized KENWOOD dealer here in SOCAL and got it done

DID I SAY I LOVE THIS THING...... I took some pix which i wil post tommorow while play with this sucker.............more details tommorow.

PIC5.....................I would definately recommend the unit to anyone who wants to add MOBILE VDO to the LEX..... in recents months I have addded CATZ HIDS and this KENWOOD SYSTEM....OH NO THE MODDING FEVER HAS BEGUN.....RIMS NEXT!!!!

 

Sweet..... See, isn't it nice to treat your Lex to something good! Never settle for less. If you want something badly enough, just save up for it a little longer and it will be worth every penny!

 

I have a GX with Factory NAV and premium ML soundsystem with CD Changer. Wanted to know if i could add a Rear Seat DVD Entertainment with it now. I want some thing like factory... and a pure DVD player not something running through a FM Modulator.
Pls Advice if its possible.

First of all as expected the stock LEX cd changer does NOT work with the system BUT the stereo place

wanted $220 for a KENWOOD model 669 6disc cd changer installed. They said that it will sit at the OLD

changer's place. I declined and saw the same model ONLINE for $120.....It is NOT a real problem yet but

it seems like it is annoying when i have to keep changing b/w MATRIX RELOADED dvd and PAUL VAN
