Who makes digital TV tuners(for car use) for receiving local digital TV broadcasts?
It had not occured to me that crystal-clear, ghost-free, TV reception is possible while
the car is moving. I saw this while on a biz trip to Taiwan last week. Many taxis there
have mobile TVs with digital TV receivers and the pictures were perfect. (only when
receiving local over-the-air digital TV broadcasts...)
A car stereo installer there showed me a few Panasonic and Pioneer digital TV
receivers for the loca market. I was almost tempted to buy one, but wasn't sure
if they can be used in the US. (Taiwan also uses NTSC, but not sure if the digital
broadcast standard is the same)
Thanks for any info!
