I believe Nakamichi that is found in many of the Lexus Models has to be one of the best sound systems available on the market. I had many different cars but nothing come close to Nakamichi.

the 1999 and 2000 sc pioneer system is not the same pioneer system that is in all previous sc cars. half the radio insides is empty and on further inspection is the same 1 DIN radio as found on the 99 ls400 AND GS 400 NAV RADIO BUT WITH THE SC FACEPLATE GRAFTED ONTO IT.. the cd changer is also the 99 ls400 glovebox cd changer turned facing up mounted on top of the amp in the trunk so the 12 disc first generation changer problem finally gone and a great japan PIONEER made 1999 6 DISC changer is there instead............................................................ IN THE 1999 AND 2000 nak system is unbelievably the same amp as the 1992 but again with a a modern nakamichi system glovrebox changer turne upwards on top of the trunk amp. with AN equalizer on the back of the changer the same as 1998 nakamichi glovebox changers found in the LS AND GS 400. so this is the ultimate nak system with the great 5 channel nak amp mated with a grEAT PIONEER MADE nakamichi equalizer 6 DISC CHANGER . AGAIN NO MORE 1988 DESIGNED PANASONIC 12 DISC LIKE 1992 TO 1998 SC. THE NAK HEADUNIT HAS A LS400 NAK HEADUNIT INSIDE ALSO LIKE THE PIONEER SYSTEM. SO THE NAKAMICHI MADE IHEADUNIT IS GONE IN 1999. BUT THE GREAT NAKAMICHI MADE AMP STILL THERE SO IT STILL DESERVES THE NAKAMICHI NAME. .......
