Unhappy 2000 GS 300 Head Unit Problems

I have a 2000 GS 300 with the factory CD changer with Tape Player. The display has stopped working, so I am looking to replace the head unit. If I do this, must I replace all of the speakers. If so, what size are they? Nobody can tell me the sizes of the speakers and what aftermarket head units will work.

If you're replacing with an identical unit, then you won't have to worry about anything else. However if you're replacing with an aftermarket unit, that's when things get a touch more complicated.

Are you going for stock or aftermarket?
