that looks awesome

i've been looking for ways to mount my ipod somewhere nice and accessible. might try doing something like this.

Here's another update- I recently got a new Sirius antenna from www.colormatchantenna.com, a firm that professionally paints your antenna using factory-matching paints so that it looks like it came from the factory. You can see what it looks like in the photo below. I had both the painted antenna and original antenna mounted side by side for a day to test if the metallic paint had any effect on the reception- I could not tell any difference.

Default The tinkering never ends....

Thanks, but as good as that looked, I thought it would look even cleaner with the antenna hidden in the spoiler, so I went ahead and popped off the spoiler (once you remove the inner trim panel, you can see the nuts that hold it on).

Once I saw there was enough room, I went ahead and installed it under the spoiler.
