Hey,
For awhile now I've been designing a new system for my '99 LX. I've gone through several configs and thought that it would be easier to setup a new system that did not have a subwoofer. Most amps out there just handle front and rear left and right and don't also include the sub. I don't want to have an extra amp since I want to keep everything hidden and neat. What do you guys think about the idea of not having a sub? I mean, If I get nice speakers which have a good frequency range that includes most if not all the of the frequencies a sub outputs, wouldn't that be good enough? Plus, I don't plan on blasting my system with rap music so the entire block can hear me.
On a side note, has anyone ever had experience with Kenwood products such as monitors, amps, etc?
I've been looking at mostly pioneer and JBL products.
Thanks,
Robert

I agree you defenitley need a sub but nothing huge. jcramair did a system that used 6" woofers and a 5 channel JL Audio amp and it sounds incredible. Yes it is a little pricey but it would sound incredible. Just my .02 cents
