gain matching from amp to HU
What is the proper voltage gain to set in my amp to best match the stock nakamichi HU?
My amp ranges from 9V MIN to .02VMAX or vice versa.
Right now i have it set at 0 (9V) but it still pounds like crazy.. by my bass boost is set at 3/4 from maximum.
The reason i ask is b/c my bass would cut out if i turn up the volume **** past the 10 o clock mark. In order for me to regain my bass i have to power off the HU and power it back on and play at a lower level.
What is the proper way of setting up my system.. ? what am i doing wrong?
Thanks

I think you should probably have that adjuster set to probalby half way. You have to kind of tweak it by hearing how much bass you have and how much mids and highs you have. Cuz the thing is if you have that set too high, then you will not be able to turn up the volume too high because of the bass over coming the mids and highs speakers.
