almost a year later i got to take some pics:

in first pic you can see a bit of the rear part of the box which still looks ugly. box has a few leaks but that will be fixed once i finish the rear section.
It was my first ever fiberglass job so I was basically learning as I went. The materials didn’t cost me any $$ as my neighbor works at the boat repair shop. But now I know why it cost so much to do this in general. LABOR!!!!!!!!! And if you don’t really know what you are doing (which was my case) side effects of the labor. A few burns, numerous splinters and cuts, and when I was sanding the box the worst of all itching; this stuff doesn’t wash off.
On the other hand I got just what I wanted a stealthy look and lots of space in trunk.

Congrats it looks nice and clean like me and you can still use your trunk.
When I did my trunk my installer was like no way am i doing fiberglass. He hates it so we went with wood but yours looks real nice man.
