who built a housing for their radio??
I know I saw this a few weeks ago.
someone here built a housing to install into the area left empty by the factory radio.
the housing was made of mdf?
and had a slot for a 1Din headunit.
I searhced and searched, but I couldn't find it!
Did I see it here on CL? I'm pretty sure it was, but the search isn[t turning up anything

I have a pic of mine up in the gallery. It's plexiglass painted black on the backside and has the lexus emblum and "lexus" laser engraved into the front.

I didn't realize it, but all my pics are under my old username.
Mods- if you're reading this, do you know of a way to associate my gallery pics with my new user name?

Very very NIce TGRich,
I had seen this before, but it's not the thread I was looking for.
The "Lexus" cover plate is great, but I need an area for my ACF and boost controller.
Maybe if the cover plate could be removed...... hmmmm,
even motorized! , but that's askign too much

Here's mine with Emerald's filler (when she was still around). Very thin ABS with hole for the wireless PS2 controller and speaker mesh wrapped so it looks flat black. The little red light is the controller sensor.
