New Head unit
To all,
I wonder will a Eclipse AVX2404 5.8" Mobile Video In-Dash CD/DVD Player fit directly into the stock unit of the Sc or do I have to modify it somehow? I found it on the website http://www.eclipse-web.com/index.html and I think it might work.
P.S. Please don't move this because it will have more respond here.

ok the answer to your question is NO it wont fit directly because that unit is a double din and the SC is 2.5 din. But...... You can buy a Radio filler from SC400tuner.com and cut out a double din slot so you can customize it to fit. it will look nice it has been done. i think this is 97sc car with the rosen r6500 / necvox 9690 headunit.. its real nice setup. goodluck and p.s. how much is that 2404 headunit.

It does make the car look stock and very nice. Thank for the photo. Is it hard to modify it to fit into the head-unit. They are asking for $1200 for it , but it include everything- DVD, Mp3, etc. So I think it is a good buy. I'll be ordering it next week and try to fit it in my car...Thank

Hey abboushi,
Thank for the website or else I would loose some money. I see the: PDD2004 Slide down 6.5 ” Wide TFT LCD Monitor that cost $200 less that what I was about the buy and it is bigger too. Is this a better one that the one that I mention before?/

i bought a caska ca-1601 for about the same price it has a 6.5in lcd slide down similar to the rosen . I was reffering to the acars dvd player with dvd changer. but that pyle one looks nice but the buttons and color are not consistant. just my opinion but pyle is not bad. i will try and help you get some info on it but it seems to have a lot of features.

Henri, you can always go back into a prior post and edit it so you don't have double posts. Just hit the "edit" button at the bottom of your post and you can add, delete, or modify your post however you like. When finished hit the "save changes" button. Just a head's up
