but didn't quite find what I was looking for.... What size are the bulbs that light up the "track" and "am" or "fm" buttons on the center console trim panel? I see 8 million posts about the LCD display, but not the buttons... did I overlook them?!
thanks

i tried reaching my center console yesterday, just to see how everything worked, and to clean somethings *rather nasty coffee stains left in by the previous owner* but yea, when i hit the plugs connected to the automatic shifter, it was not easy to take out, but not worth the time because i didnt have enough time to spend to get them back in.

well, I found the bulbs and made my phone calls and rounds to a few electronics service / repair / wholesale places... seems I'm going to have to get them from another source
anyone know where I can order some?
bad part is, I KNOW O.L.T. knows exactly what I need, just won't tell me...
guess I'll just cough up the money for it...

o.l.t is no help.
its very easy to take apart the console and it alsi s prety easy to change the bulbs for those buttons. the part number is lx 84999-60360. they twist right out. there are 3 bulbs that lights up all the button for the a/c control. the lcd bulbs are seperate and are further inside the unit.
as for the radio, the bulbs in there are totally different and are soldered to the board. i have a picture if you need to see what they look like inside the radio head.

You need to check your attitude at the door before you go saying things like that.
