Default Are there any .... Navigation systems that offer RCA VIDEO OUTPUT ????

already have 2 regular LCD tv's in the visor.... was wondering if i can hook them up to a navigation system??

are there units out there allow you to use just regular lcd tv's for the visual of the maps....

i know most navigation units reguire a certain tv moniter...

help!

Just pick yourself up a RGB converter, It converts the RGB signal of the nav system to rca's

found alotta RCA to RGb converters..... but none that are Rgb to RCa

none that offer RCA as a output....


Any ideas.... ??

hmm... I have no idea... Myabe you could just swap it around, and use the rgb as imput, and rca as output....dunno

nope.. not possible.... it goes from "original RBG input" to "RCA input" results in "NEW RBG Output"

I might be of help here...

Aftermarket navigation systems, like Alpine's PowerNav make an adapter for composite video output. I recall the model being kce-021n ?. Any other RGB system that uses RGB with composite sync. could use one of these converters http://www.converters.tv/converters/rgb/ntsc.html.

There is a reason that most manufactures use RGB monitors for navigation. The quality of text displayed (road names...) on smaller composite video screen is very poor.

What navigation system are you talking about?
