Here is the deal.
I just got this new thingy: Precision Power MaxxBass Psycho-acoustic Bass Enhancer.

My current system is stock + preamp out mod -> JL 250.1 amp -> JL 10w3v2 sub in custom sealed fiberglass box.

Now MaxxBass Processor manual recommends using it in 2 different configurations:
1.Front Stereo Config - Processor is used between the front chanel source and front speaker amp to increase the bass response on only the front speakers. This is recommended to improve bass image in systems with rear mounted subwoofer.
2.Dual Stereo Config – for systems w/out rear sub use 2 maxxbass processors one for front and one for rear channel speakers. This will provide close to subwoofer like performance w/out adding sub to system.

Also on MaxxBass site I found this: MaxxBass Demo Car Shown at Audio Engineering Conference in NYC and Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Demonstrates that a standard 8" subwoofer with MaxxBass sounds comparable to a 15" subwoofer without MaxxBass.

Here is my Q?:
Keeping in mind my current system setup how should I connect MaxxBass processor.
1. connect inline between my preamp out mod and my sub amp to enhance performance of my subwoofer

or

2. perform De's aux input mod and connect it between stock head unit and stock amp enhancing entire system (will it effect entire system if done like that?) this one would be a pain a the arss but doable

Which one do you think i should do. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.
