The glovebox was where I installed everything initially...since then, I've moved it behind the screen itself...it's a really tight fit..but it works!

Here's everything in the glove box:

Nice! But I feel sorry for that HD (hope you mounted it vertically!). I have to get off my a$$ as take apart my dashboard to see how much room I've got. I'm planning to put a USB port in the center cuholder

The picture showed up.

AcleanSC4: Did you use the same motherboard and everything when you put it behind the screen or did you shorten it out or something?

sorry, don't have any pictures of it behind the screen, but it's VERY tight...

i have the powersupply sitting under my A/C unit...the mobo is slanted on top of the A/C unit

everything you see in the glovebox is crammed behind the screen...

0l33l: yeah, that was temporary for a couple of days...those 2.5" drives aren't as easily damagable compared to the 3.5" drives...since the summer, i've had zero problems with my carputer...

Are you still using mediacar or have you made the switch to FrodoPlayer, and have you installed a MIC?

I don't have time to start on my setup; 11th grade is the worst todate in the ammount of HW we get. I'll give my dashboard to my uncle who will mold everything to look stockish

I think I'm just going to go with the pc in the trunk (one of those horizontal cases). After I get my subs I will make a custom box so that the pc fits on top with the dvd drive showing. On second thought I dont think thats a good idea because the bass will be pounding very hard. Will it still be safe or am I just asking for the computer to mess up? Also, has anyone put the climate control on the bottom near the ashtray and put the screen on top? That is what I plan on doing. Hope its doable!!

Damn that looks OEM. Very clean install. Have you ever considered selling those dash pieces because I'll buy one.
