Default LS400 questions?

Does anybody know if there are any online tutorials on how to install a DIN size headunit in a 1st gen. LS400?

And is there a kit that makes the wiring a plug n play affair?

I have a couple pairs of Infinity reference 5.25i component speakers, the first pair will go into the stock location in the front doors, the second pair I would like to put in the rear, but the rear doesnt have any holes for the tweeters.

Where is a good place for the tweeters for the rear passengers?

I would like to do the installs myself to save some bucks and to learn aswell. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hope this helps (off of Earl!'s LS website ) :

For installing aftermarket head unit (tells you which wiring harness to use as well):

For installing 5.25" speaker:

I'm a n00b when it comes to AV... maybe some of the AV gurus can chime in and help you out on the last question.

Leaving the rear tweeters out is not necessarily a bad idea- most high-end car stereo setups only use 2 tweets in front to get the best possible imaging.
