Default i had an idea for my sound system

i already have a one memphis 15" pushed by a memphis class D 1000 watt amp, now don't get me wrong this **** is LOUD, but it does'nt have the depth that i am looking for,and i want to do something different.
i was thinking of making a fiberglass enclosure in the middle of the back seat, so i will still be able to get two little people in the rear, i was thinking of two or three of those square twelve inch speakers.
did anyone ever make anything like this, or have any ideas.
thanks...........................................

are you saying that the enclosure will be inside the cabin?? If so it isnt going to happen. I say this because the L7 Kicker subs require ample airspace and with 3 of them......well, you get the idea

yeah in the cabin, they are called L7 ??????????
well the memphis i have is a 15" duel voice coils and it requires 3 cubic feet of air space, so how room would much would a 12" L7 need, maybe if i used two of them......................

Yea the square subs that I think you speak of are made by kicker. They have either the l5 or l7 model.. the 5 series requiring less power. If you go with a ported enclosure, then 2 L7's would run you around 6-8 cubic feet. I will double check this to make sure...

i don't really like ported boxes, i had better luck with sealed boxes.
are there any circle twelves that i can use that require the least amount of space, yet still be a quality speaker, that can handle 1000 watts.

I'm running 2 12" L7's, you can use a sealed enclosure as small as .88 cu ft if you want to.

L7 Spec's

There are plenty of 12 in woofers that are quality and dont require too much air space.
It sounds like the man above is running his L7's without much airspace. It is really all about what works best for you.

hey guys so no one ever did this or thought about doing it.
my first thought was to just use fiberglass for the back part of the box that will be against the seat, and build from there.
or
cut the seat in two from the pleats near the seat belt insert, restich it so i will still have full sc300 rear seats, but instead of the little bump in the the middle of the rear seat it will have a subwoofer.
