Btw, with the wireless internet in the car I can network with my home PCs while the car is outside. No need to burn a CD to transfer files, etc. I also hit about three hot spots on my way to work. My next project is to add a tiny web cam for mobile video conferencing.

Yeah, those are sweet...I just went the "cheap" way and got an Xbox modded with Xbox Media Center...interfaced to the Nav screen with a Audio Authority 9A65 RGB converter...I just wish there was a way to interface the stock nav touchscreen with a carputer. If you could, I'd get a carputer built for my setup.

What type of video input the nav screen uses? The PC has VGA and RCA video out.
Does the nav touchscreen work with the Xbox?
Does the nav touchscreen work with the Xbox?

For those of you that dont want to reinvent the wheel, I found this site with plenty of mini cases and complete CAR PC systems. hope it helps.

Here's a quick pic I just snapped.
Just a slightly modded skin from the original Xbox Media Center Project Mayhem III skin to make it a bit more friendly on a small screen...but I want to design my own one day....that matches the stock Lexus graphics...but no time for that right now.
Oh yeah for those people who used the Audio Authority 9A65 or the 9A62 to use an Xbox/PS2/Component video source....I found a RGBS to Composite converter so that you can output to rear headrest screens, though, of course, with quality degradation.
