Default What aftermarket free air sub will fit in oem locaton

Can any of you folks tell me what aftermarket free air subs will work in the OEM location? I saw some on ebay pioneers sorry I m shure that people have asked this but oh well

The JL 10IB4 is a very good sub...the problem, it's discontinued. I got a Pioneer TS-W254F. It's decent for what it is, but the sub grille rattles horribly.

Won't pretty much any 10" sub fit back there? I assume you might have to build a baffle for a few that don't clear the tank, but that shouldn't be too hard...

Well certain subs perform in specifically sealed or free air applications. I'm not sure exactly how they differ internally, but since there is no box in the rear deck, the SC requires a free air sub. Free air subs are usually weaker (although not always), and if you want a loud system, I suggest putting a box with a few 12's in the trunk.
