Default Up-dating the sound system

Can someone help me ? I'm trying to up-date my car sound system (95 SC400) I have
the standard system in the car now and I want to put the NAK in the car, Now do I have to
change the speakers and or the amplifier. Someone help me please!

why not just go all after market?

buying the stock lexus stuff can be almost as expensive

the carputer is not a viable option as of yet... but soon it will be.

lol. i guess it can be done at any time... but looking for a proven product combo is hard to find. as is for the fitting.

Definitely go aftermarket. You'll get way better sound quality and it'll cost you less than if you changed out all your stock stuff for used Nak stuff. I spent <$700 for everything and it sounds a LOT cleaner and louder and better overall sound quality. A friend of mine has the Nak system and he's amazed at how much better mine sounds over his. I wouldn't call mine anything special by any stretch of the imagination. All of the stuff I used in my SC400 is not high end and inexpensive and it sounds great IMO.......GO AFTERMARKET!!!

Here's what I put in:
kenwood DPX-4010 Head unit, double din ($250)
Sony X-Plod 475GSX 4x75w amp ($115)
JBL 10IB4 free air sub in stock sub location ($125)
Kenwood KFC-505ie 5.25" components up front ($150)
Sony 5.25" coaxials in rear ($35)
high quality RCAs ($80)
all new speaker wire ($20)
