Tried to find a high quality LCD monitor and get no luck. Everybody said Alpine is good, but after download their manual, it's spec resolution is no better than others: 1200x234. Also, it's priced too high. Consider a Toshiba SD-P2600 (portable DVD player), the screen is awsome at $600, 8.9" and resolution is hight at 1024x600...

Wonder if there is a good stand alone LCD monitor 7"-10", with good resolution (at least 800x480) and reasonable price? Please post, thanks...

 

i still you should give alpine a try see

 

I know it quite good in terms of brightness and contrast, I just want more resolution...maybe a 9" screen...any suggestion?
