dvd nav questions
whats the cheapest price anyone has seen for a nav update dvd for the 430? is it the same in the 01 version as it is in the current 04? lexusparts.com seems to imply so. also has anyone sucessfully had xm satellite installed in an 01 ls 430? does it have to be fm modulated?

I just called my local dealer (Charles Barker Lexus - Virginia Beach,VA) and i was told the newest update will be out between September-October. And i asked should i get the one they have now and was told no. The parts manager said wait for the update.
P.S i have a 2001 LS430 and want to update but will wait for the more updated info, only 1 or 2 months longer.

from what I can see the current newest update is from 10/03 and adds 3 million more POI. my 04 TL came with more than that so I will call lexus and confirm what you said.
