Default Lights in the buttons of the head unit and AC controls

I just bought my 95 SC400 today and once it got dark I realized that a few of the buttons on my radio headunit and my ac control unit are not lit. Is there a way to fix this problem or does the entire unit need to be replaced?

The light bulbs can technically be replaced. I hope you have a soldering iron. I'm not sure if Lexus sells them.

LLS fixes the climate controls so maybe they can do your radio buttons?

Climate control button lights can be replaced...the bulbs are available directly from the Lexus dealer for $7.50 a piece, last time I checked. You have to order in batches of 10
If your LCD lights are out, that requires the soldering iron and possible bending of pins to get to the bulbs. OLT/LLS would be your best bet in this case.

Radio bulbs are harder to get to than the climate control; also they use different bulbs than those in the climate control so you cannot order them through the dealer; atleast this is what my local dealer said and this seems to be true. Again, the radio would be someting I would leave to OLT, if you are not very technical. Hope this helps.

As has been said before, search is your friend. This info has been discusses numerous times before.
