I have some PPI DEQ230's laying around somewhere

Can't reacall if they are white or black.

I actually have one here
PPI DEQ230 and well it doesnt work
my installer tells me it has alot of noise going thru it
so i have to send it back

Im not sure if its broken or my system just doesnt like it

My system consists of

I think these were my backup units from before, I think they were sent in for upgrades or repaired or whatever, but I know they are good.

I usually rotated them and sent them in for a checkup every 6 months or so.

Make a fair offer and you can have them. It is a good idea to keep a backup(s) of these, when they break they just take a **** and turn off! It happened to me at the 96 IASCA Finals in South Carolina but luckily I hadn't started tuning on them yet!!!!

DoubleWhoosh, yeah SPL, that's one of the reasons why I stopped competing - my little SQ Fiero with 2 10's only hit the low 130's.

I have used 2 Audio Control 30 band EQT's in my previous competition system. I was pretty happy with them, though 2 of them took up some valuable space in my Fiero!

In my GS, I'm using the Orion DEQ30. Its also a 31 band EQ, but this time 31 bands for the left and 31 bands for the right channel, all in one unit. Plus the four presets allows me to setup SQ, SPL, RTA, and "Open Window". You can tune each channel independently or both channels at the same time. I actually used this EQ in my 2nd year of competition and it helped me nab a few trophies in the IASCA 0-150watt Amateur SQ+ class.

Actually, I've been holding off the tuning since I'm interested in getting the Alpine PXA-900. It contains a 1/3rd octave EQ for EACH of the front L/R, center, rear L/R, and subs L/R. Plus time alignment, Dolby Digital, and DTS decoding. The only thing holding me back is the near 4 grand retail price. Even at a hookup price, it's still pretty expensive! :eek:

On that note, I'd be willing to part with either the Audio Control or Orion units, provided the price was reasonable.

In addition, a friend of mine just got the Alpine unit, and is selling his 2 RANE/USD Audio analog EQ's and 3 way crossover.

If you're intersted in any of these units, just let me know and we can work out the details.
