after market alarm
Hi All,
Both myself and a friend of mine bought ourselves RX330's. He claims adding an alarm will void the warranty. Is there any truth to this?
I don't need a remote starter, but I'd still like an LCD responder. I'm looking at either the viper 690xv or the clifford rs 2.5x. Can anybody recommend a good (cheap) installer in NYC/NJ?

In theory an alarm could void your warranty, but it would only be an issue if the installer did not know what they were doing and the alarm caused direct damage to the cars wiring. Viper and clifford are both good alarms, but when it comes to alarms it is all about the install. Do not go cehap or ghetto on the install or you will be waking up everynight to false alarms.
