Default factory amp with aftermarket headunit?

Can this be done? I want to keep everything stock as much as possible i just want a indash monitor in my gs300. I was told I would need an aftermarket amp to power sub and maybe an amp for all speakers as factory amp has no input. If this is the case, anyone know of a wiring harness to solve this problem?

you should be able to do this with the wire harness kit. have done it in the past with other vehicles.

Do you want to mount an actual screen in the dash or a headunit w/ a motorized t.v.? If it is headunit, you will need a harness and a mounting kit. As for the sub, do you mean the factory sub or are you putting an aftermarket sub. If this is the case you will definitly want to purchase a good amp to push it.

You can use the factory amp on the sub. In order to get the output you want you will want a head unit with at least 4 volt pre out and preferably a dedicated sub out for control. You can use the metra intergrated amp harness for the components and on the sub you need to hard wire it. You need to locate the sub amp harness on the back of the radio and wire in a rca cable to the imput. It is a mono signal so you can hook both left and right together or use a y adaptor. Then just hook into the sub output on the radio and your ready to go. Have done many sc's this way and work very well if your going to stick with the factory sub.
