I will be getting a 01 IS300 soon and I am looking around for a system.

I have found something and would like some feedback of what you guys think.

Is this a good match? And is this a good system for a IS300?

check out www.hookedontronics.com for cheaper alpine stuff, thats where i got all my equipment. MUCH cheaper than crutchfield. you cant go wrong with alpine.

 

You may want to bridge the amp and run the subs in parallel. You may want to go with a slightly bigger amp for more power, depending on system goals.
Also check out www.woofersetc.com for amp/subs (good prices/service).

 

I was searching around some and put together this,

what about, Infinity component speakers for the front doors, Infinity coaxials for the back. 2 12W6V2 JL Audio 12" DVC Subwoofers. a JL 1000/1 AMP for subs and a JL 300/4 AMP for speakers.

That would make a nice system. The W6V2 is an excellent woof. JL amps are good bang/buck. Depends on how crazy you want to get up front, Infinity OK.
