I bought a used '93 ES 300 about 4 years ago and the previous owner put a security code on the radio.
This wasn't realy a problem until the battery died and my radio doesn't work!
The Lexus Repair Manual doesn't give much information on this.
I noticed in one of your earlier post that you said that you had this code and I am guessing you probably know how to use it too
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

i think if you take it to your lexus dealer, thy can erase the memory and start over, giing you your own code. btu i also believe they have to send it in to lexus for this service.

the codes usually wernt set as they were owner installed. sometimes the dealers installed them in high crime areas and they used the last 3 numbers of the vin number. try that first.and follow code enterring instructions in the owners manual. i will look for the master code the dealer used when the code was unknown. i have several file cabinets to look through. i have every lexus audio unit service manual but that info was dealer not the radio manufacturer information.

I am going to erase that damn code as soon as the radio is back up and running!
