Help !! I have a 97 LS400 which has the CD Button on my Pioneer System but no changer. I recently ordered a changer but cannot locate the wiring harness which Lexus says exists because I have the button. Where is it and are there any hints for installation? Thank you for any light you can shed on this.

ithe 97 ls400 14 pin cd changer connctor is hidden in a dummy connector attached to the ac evaporator behind the glovebox. . if you bought a used changer hopefully you got the wood faceplate with it. they cost 334.00 for one from the dealer.

Thx Lexusaudio for your reply. So I guess the glovebox liner comes out in order to install Changer and once I take out liner it will become apparent how it is attached and plugged in? As far as the wood faceplate --do you mean even though the unit is installed in glovebox it still has a wood faceplate? If so I would imagine that the seller would include it as part of sale, although I didn't question him about that .

if the sellert is a salvage yard they usually break the faceplate taking it off . very seldom does a salvage yard have the faceplate. i have the factory install directions if you need them. i could fax then to you.

Thanks Lexusaudio. The Salvage yard assured me that the faceplate was intact and would be included. Yes , would you email me the installation instructions, I don't have a fax machine but if thats the only way you can forward them to me , I'll get a fax number for you to send them. . bradouellet@hotmail.com thank you very much
