For those of you with remote start....
How did you get the headlights to turn off with the autolight feature on, after you've remote started, then turned off, with out opening the door??

OK boys and girls, heres how to do it.
note: this is for the Clifford Intelistart System although it should work on any system which has the needed output(get to that in a sec)
Directed make a module called a 452T. This is a universal door lock interface, its used for alarms which do not have door locking control. It uses the armed output wire, when this wire goes to ground it gives a pulse out of the lock wire, when the system is disarmed it loses that ground and pulses the unlock wire.
On the Intelistart there is a wire which goes earth when the intelistart is running, and goes dead when you stop it. All that needs to be done is the ground when running wire connected to the 452T armed input wire and the unlock wire of the 452T connected to a relay to open circuit the alarm door trigger wire and earth the car side of that wire.
So stop engine running via remote, Intelistart drops it ground when running wire, 452T pulses a relay to open circuit the door trigger wire while grounding the car door switch wire and hey presto lights turn off. Job done
