ok,
I am trying to wire up my new headunit and i dont know what wires have to get wired up so i can get this unit to power up. i am in no way a AV guru. these are the colors that are from my new HU.
p.s. i have a 93 sc400 with NAK.

Wire Color Desc.

Yellow ---- Batt.
White/blk stripe ----Front L-
Red ----ACC
White/Slv. stripe ----Front L+
Blue/white stripe ----Back ctrl
Prpl/blk stripe ----Rear R-
prpl/slv. stripe ----Rear R+
Black ----Ground
Green/slv.stripe ----Rear L+
Green/Blk stripe ----Rear L-
Silver/Blk stripe ----Front R-
Silver ----Front R+
brown ----Auto Amp
blue/slv stripe ----??

but i want to know what wires need to get connectedc to wire up a aftermarket headunit.
so which wires have to get cut and spliced to wire up to the headunit. pirate400 told me before but i lost it.

To give it power all you need to wire up YELLOW, RED and BLACK.

Do you need to know what factory color wires to tap as well? For anything else it would help to have the brand/model # on the unit.

Do he tell you to use the factory amp or bypass it? Cause that affects how you hook up the speakers and stuff.
