dvd player?
i have about 2000 dollars to spend from extra insurance money after a recent fender bender, and i was deciding on getting a new set of shoes:
1. should i get new rims?
2. should i get a new flip out in dash dvd monitor and player?
3. if i do get the dvd monitor and player how much will it be for a decent one? plus install?
4. any suggestions if so on any particular player in the range?
5. will i still be able to use my stock system, mainly my 12cd changer with the dvd player and monitor?
PS: on my sc3

Re: dvd player?
I personally would go for the dvd player.
I had a pioneer avic-n1 installed with navigation and it plays dvds and has xm radio. Built in sub controls, somewhat of a wimpy EQ but the nav is one of the most accurate aftermarket systems available. It also has G-force meters built in. It will measure your g-forces for acceleration, deacceleration, and side to side acceleration.
It will also serve as a compass. Good stuff man.
Here's a photo of mine:
Good luck.
Total cost for me to get everything installed: $600 but that included wiring up the XM radio, installing 2 amps, running power wire from the trunk, installing the unit, and creating a new sub box that sits on the back shelf of the trunk that blocks the view of the amp rack on the back wall.
