Lexoman -- I installed one about a month ago. If you do a search, you should find the thread. To summarize, it did absolutely nothing. Basically, if you're getting bad reception, the signal is bad, and an antenna booster will, if anything, just amplify a bad signal. So, I took it out.
However, I have since installed a antenna noise filter, and I've heard a noticeable improvement in reception. You can get one at any autoparts store for around $10. It's basically a grounding device. The cause of bad reception could be improper grounding at the point where the cable connects to the glass antenna. The truth is that most glass antennas have pretty crummy reception anyway, but the noise filter does help a bit.
