sc 400 antenna connection
Hi,
I want to insert a XM FM modulator into the antennal lead for my SC 400. One logical place to connect is back by the power antenna. However, it appears that there is not a plug in lead at the antenna. Does anyone know if there is a plug back there?
Also, can anyone suggest a place to get power near the antenna.
Thanks,
Jerry

Sorry for not being clear. I am not asking out the power connection. What I am interested in is whether the antenna cable that runs to the AM/FM receiver unplugs at the antenna.
I am installing a FM modulator unit for a XM radio and want to know if I can unplug the connection at the antenna. Installing at the receiver ends requires pulling the radio out of the panel and finding a spot for the modulator box under the crowded dash.

I've been doing searches on FM modulators for my portable Sirius and wanted to know the same thing. So, to install the FM modulator, Is it better to tap into plug leading to the power antenna in the trunk or into the unit?
