Default Anyone here ever heard of....

Pacific Stereo?

Or knows someone who had experience with them. I was at their store in Riverside, and they offered me an incredible price on the Eclipse AVN2454 and the the Kenwood DDX7015. I asked the sales person if they were refurbished, because the price was too good to be true, but he told me they were all brand new. He seemed to have a lot of eclipse items in the store, and I heard that Eclipse if very picky about who they allow to sell their stuff. One thing that caused me some concern though, he said that they had a double din dash kit for my GS. It was my understanding that the only double din dash kit made for the GS was from Japan and had to be ordered, unless you had one custom fabricated. Am I right?

Please help. The audio is going to be the first set of mods in my car and I don't want to start off with any bad experiences. Thanks.

There is another double din kit from Metra. They are not as nice as the JDM ones but they are also less expensive.

I bought my pedals from them, on Harbor St. in Santa Ana. The only thing with those places are you got to make sure they're not refurb (if they claim new) and small ops like those usually charge pretty hefty for installation. Sorry don't know too much about them.

BTW, how much were the eclipse and kenwood?

Default prices

Thanks guys for you help.

They were offering me $1699 for the Eclipse and $950 for the Kenwood. These prices are by far the lowest that I have seen these items. It was free installation for the headunits. I asked the guy and he swears up and down that they are new.

I have another question for you guys. I have seen the picture quality of both of these myself. To me the Kenwood HU had better resolution than the Eclipse, but the Eclipse had better features. Anyone else notice this?

Anyone else hear anything about Pacific Stereo?

I don't know about the Kenwood but that is a very nice price for the Eclipse.

Pacific Stereo is reputable enough.
I'd take my car there again.
I have noticed that they are pretty good on prices and even if the stuff was refurbed, I couldn't tell.

Install quality is pretty decent.
