Hey Everyone, a first post and i need some help. Mark Levinson problem.
First of all it's refreshing to be in a forum full of great minded people
Right here's the story, basically my ML system in my 2004 RX330 is no longer playing any sound.
I lent the car to the old fella who's now enjoying himself and has decided to live his days with mum in a Mercedes SL (*sigh* what a silly person, a Mercedes? i mean really ). He needed my car to move small funiture around or something.
He returns it to me in the evening and it's kinda funny cause he was at the door with that look kids get when they do something bad, ya know like trampling the rose garden. Anyway i'm just laughing and told it was alright and asked what he did. He said that he was just playing around with the speaker playback position setting (ALL, DRIVER, FRONT, REAR) etc etc cause he didnt want to disturb my mother sleeping in the passenger seat or something. Then he said when he changed the setting back to ALL the music just died. Nothing, zelch, etc.
Now has this happened to anyone else? The CDs and radio play fine and the volume indicator still works and the mute button is off, but there simply is NO SOUND coming out of the speakers. Will this just correct itself in the morning?
I dont have a chance to take it in till the weekend, so for the sake of my throat and other motorists dont make me sing to myself to no music, i have a long drive to work
Thanks in advance

ahh really? man, and it's gotten worse now cause the dials no longer do anything at all, the volume indicator no longer works, both on the console and on the steering wheel.
I've booked it in for a service. See what happens.
