JL Audio Cleansweep for xm or sirius
local installer was pretty sure this would allow hookup with lexus sc 430 ML system without a fm mod with control through the factory hu. anyone familiar with this?

Yeah JL Audios clean sweep won't be out until May I believe.
The Clean Sweep is pretty much like an ultimate Line Level Converter which allows you to tap into your OEM amp speaker leads and the unit actually converts the audio into digital state and does its processing and then outputs it on line out connectors.
You can hook up a XM/Sirius tuner to it and hear the audio without the need of a FM modulator however i don't think you can control the satellite tuner using the OEM headunit.
