Default 98 GS300 CD Changer Problem

My CD Changer in my 98 GS300 won't play burned CDs properly for some reason. It sounds like the CD's are scratched. Is this a CD changer problem or is it the CD's? When I play regular store bought CDs its fine but the burned CD's from my studio CD burner are playing bad. Can I add an aftermarket CD player that can play CDR and CDWR to the existing factory head unit? Any advice from all of you would be appreciated.

No There Are No Aftermarket Cd Players That The Lexus Headunit Will Recognize. The Changer Laser May Be Getting Weak Or The Burned Cds Should Be On Mucic Blanks Not Data. The Reflective Surface Of The Data Not As Good.

I'll buy music blanks and see what happens. I always use data in my Alpine on my other car with no problem.

CD-Rs play fine on my changer.

Could be your CD-Burner or the format you use to burn your media.
