Default Car stereo help

does anybody know how to run a car stereo in your house? ive got all this stuff just laying around my room and i need to do somthing with it. i mean with the head unit, speakers, amps and a sub. thanks =) i know they do it at the car stereo shops where they have all the displays working.

Just go get a cheap reciever and hook everything up to it. Trying to get your head unit power in your house is more of a headache than it's worth.

Here is a 5 channel for $140- it'll get the job done.

You need something Like this:

12 Volt DC Regulated Power Supply
AC to DC regulated Power supply

I actually had a spare sleeve for my pullout Kenwood (back in high school 1988)

So i could go from car to my room.
Slap that sucker in and listen to my tunes w/ a remote control.
