Default stereo whistling (caska) HELP!!!

i kno i already had two previous posts on this caska unit of mine, but i have yet anther problem. by the way i did PM andy who had the same problem, just want everyones input. i installed my double din and everythings fine, except the installers said my ebay external amp i bought which is a legacy la160 4channel 300w amp, wasnt good quality, and that my stocker was better, so they go ahead and installed it using the stock amp. i hate to tell them i told you so, but now there is a whistling noise frequency comin in thru the radio and out the speakers, it is very very annoying! now should i tell this guy to go ahead and install my legacy amp, or get a better amp and let them install that, say like a kicker or something? will this solve my whistling?

thanks in advance...

Just go buy a basic ground loop isolator and install as close to the amp as possible (before the amp inputs, not after the outputs). Also, getting a better RCA cable thats the right length should help out too. Those 2 things will eliminate the problem

whats up man, i saw you had a post on a ground loop issue. I am suffering from the same issue, its rediculous. I just installed my dvd player and grouded it out to the factory ground located in the drivers side kick panel. then i grounds both of my amps to the body in the trunk(i even sanded them down before to insure a good connections) but i cannot get rid of the ground loop. when i accelerate i here the whiring noice and its so rediculous i cant ever really hear music. i am a ex- installer for best buy and circuit city and ive trouble shooted all my wires grounds, power, rcas etc and i cant find any resolutions. im am so dupped here i dont know what to do, hope you can help me!

Brennan

ps. tried to PM but got rejected
