I've looked all over this board for the post with the photos of the Dyn door installation from the old board and can't find them. Stupid me didn't print them last year. Any hints where I find them?

Percy,
I think I may have found the post on the old board.
1) What thickness is the plywood for the baffle and is the 1 inch 6 1/2 spacer required for front and rear?
2) Is it a pain in the bottom getting to the tweets to replace them and do the Dyns have an in-line crossover like the stock ones?
3) Did you use clips to secure the front and rear baffle boards?

Nice job on finding the picture!

1/2 inch plywood for baffle. 1 inch 6.5 inch diameter spacer only needed for fronts. Rears should be fine without spacer.

Dyns don't have an inline crossover. They're a seperate module. As for the "pain" level, it's not too bad. Fairly straightforward.

Actually they're strapping material (the extras found in head units for holding the rear section) but a similar product can be found over at your local hardware store. It's in the plumbing section and it's basically a metal strap with a bunch of holes every 1/2 inch. They sell it in a roll and I forgot what it is called exactly, but it's the item that connects the sink plunger to the pull handle. (geez...a plumber I am not so pardon the technical terms!)

Crossover placement
Can someone please tell me where to place the aftermarket crossover in the front doors? There doesn't seem to be enough space between the door and the panel. Any photos would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Kevin

The best place that I can think of would be to put the xover someplace on the metal panel BEHIND the speaker. There should be room. Otherwise you'll have to get creative.
