hi, i'm just wondering if i can possibly connect my amplifier to the stock lexus is300 cd/cassette player.

sure can i know that there are RCA jacks on the stock amp but not sure if its in or out. but a good way to do it is to use a high level amp input (speaker wires from stock amp) or get a PIE converter. PIE is the brand not sure on the real name

the stock amp has communication with head unit so aftermarket will not be recognized.

If the stock HU doesnt have RCA outputs (it prolly doesnt), all you need is a Line Out Converter which you'll run off either your stock :1.) Sub wires (preferred) or 2.) speaker wires. Very easy stuff

yes but you need an aftermarket amp and then probably all new speakers as aftermarket 5 channel amps too powerful for oem high efficiency low watt speakerrs.

All he wants to do is add a sub right? Just need the LOC, 2 channel or mono amp, and sub
