Im going to get one 8w7 sub for my IS300 and I am wondering what type of amp to use. It says optimal use would be with about a 300 rms amp. The 8w7 is a 3 ohm sub though and I have only seen amps with 1, 2, or 4 ohms.....im very confused, could someone help me out?

 

You should probably go with the JL AUDIO 500/1 amp. That will feed the W7 plenty of juice. That amp can run from 1.5 to 4 ohms and still provide the same amount of power to the driver.
