i originally got my JL 10ib4 off another member brand new in the box. i guess sometimes these things are prone to break if they're just not used. i think it had already been sitting for something like 6 yrs. it said 1998 in the manual. so i really wouldn't recommend ppl going that route. it's powerful though. i've never experienced the full potential, but even at 1/4 power it thumps. the edesign one is rated at similar power so hopefully i'll get good results.

I believe that there is a nice Alumapro Alchemy free-air, I forget whether it's 10" or 12", that would be a great choice - check out their website if interested.
