Hey everbody... i'm installing a viper 791xv in my gs300... but i'm stuck on some of the wiring... and i tried to use the search option... but no help... i need help with the trunk poper... and the steering wheel... when i remote start it, it doesn't go down, unless i push it down... and it doesn't go back up... anybody could help me out on that... thanx...

For the trunk pop:

Violet/yellow(-) is at the switch or the blue(+) at the drivers kick in a 18 pin plug

The output from the Viper should be a low current (-) output so you should be able to tie directly in to the swtich. If you want to be safe throw a relay on the wire and then you can choose whatever location is easier to access.

For the seat memory I have no idea, I think I read something about it on DEIs website a long time ago, but I don't remember the specifics and I no longer have access to the site.

Is the wheel not controlled by a micro switch in the ignition barrel. Are you still getting a neg output from the alarms channel output?

i've know that the key sense wire is a neg. wire... but which wire from the brain do i install that into... i don't know
