Exclamation Oh No!!!

1990 LS400
i was in the middle of installing my head unit (hard process when you are going to splice every wire instead of using a harness) so we decided to take a break and go to hooters... well i already had the dash kit and cdplayer and everything bent into place and put together so we decided to just go without putting it in, can just use the 2x60 A/C until we get back and finish (2 windows down X 60miles an hour heh heh) great idea right? WRONG i guess the car needed the extra load of the ashtray/cdplayer/ac because as soon as i started the car something in the steering column (i think) shorted out (smoke! NOOOOO! ) and now the turn signal doesnt work and the steering wheel adjust button...is kinda wierd...still works though just not normal...

what do i do? is it just a blown fuse or what?

thanks for any help i can get

that happend to me before. haha. not excatly. but yeh. the turning singal didn't work and all that.. and i all i did was just replaced the fuse.. .. and yes i agree on the harness. it's freaking useless.. i should of freaking cut all the wires and reconnet it straight with the CD player.... oo wells.. guess i wasted 30bucks on harness and adaptor for nothing..
