Default Xtant Amps in a SC300?

I have two Xtant amps- 604x and 1001dx - laying around from my old car and Im thinkin of installing it into my SC300. Since these amps are big, how did u guys installed them, or any other amp of its size, into ur SCs? Im lookin for a clean simple easy way to do it. No fancy ampracks. Can u guys post pics?

the easiest way is just to have them laying on the trunk floor. THe best way(nothing fancy) remove the divider that seperates the trunk from the gas tank, mount a peice of ply wood to the back, and then mount your amps vertically on the front. Put peice back in place. All your wires will be hidden.

This is exactly how I mounted my 5ch Alpine amp. I used a 1/4" mdf backer board behind the panel for support and screwed the amp down through the trim panel and into the mdf backer board. It's extremely solid and it looks super clean too.

I will recommend that you use 1/2" MDF if clearances allow. The 1/4" stuff tends to be less rigid, and screws can pull out over time. (jeremyp, if 1/4" is working for you, great...)
