I like the rear tweeter location for front seat driver/passenger, but may be too bright for rear seat people?
Nice work.

Nice work.
Sounds great when seating in the rear, or if needed fad them down from head unit.

What year and model do you have?..........Also you can make your own speaker boxes out of MDF using a jig-saw to replace the plastic box............when dremeling remove the box from door so you can get all grindings out of box and don't forget to put back in the small piece of stuffing that is already in the plastic box.

i have a 1990 LS400, and the dremeling procedure went pretty bad, and only to put 5.25's in, it was horrible for placement, i had to cut the door screens so that the woofers wouldnt hit them...and there are big gaps that i have to epoxy closed, also there were no pads in the boxes so i have to buy some fiberglass....ugh i think i will just get some mdf and make a box...

How do you like those Polk's? I was debating between those and the Polk MOMO's. Is everythign else stock in your car or do you have your speakers amped?

I like the Polk db's they work great on stock pioneer system because there sensitivity is 92 ( the higher sen. the more efficient they are)..........I will be install an Alpine head with a four channel 100watts per channel amp and also the same Polks up front and sub and amp.

Awesome, I just got an Infity 520w 4 channel amp pushing 111w x 4 (don't know how they got 111, I'm guessing more like 100) but that should make everything sound awesome. I think I'm going to go for the polk DB's like you have. I'll let you konw how it sounds when I'm done but it should be nice.

I'm looking to upgrade all my speakers in my 1991. Does anyone have pics of the modded box for aftermarket speakers? That way i can get a clue as to what I need to do with the box?
