J-Spide, if you're running more than one amp, it's a nice choice to distribute power and ground, and it apparently has a voltage monitor or two. Looks pretty well made too. Wire gauge accepted = 4 (good), also accepts up to 100A mini-ANL fuses (good).
If you're just doing an amp for subs or a single 5-channel amp, you won't need it cause you can use individual parts, but you could still use it for show and only use part of it. If you're doing a F/R amp plus sub amp, you'll need a distribution block & fuseholders. Looks pretty sweet to me for show, if it were me and I was doing the Soundstream thing, I'd put it in just for show.........

I have two SPLX 15" Subs, soundstream 1600/2 tarantula amp, 800/4 soundstream tarantula 4 channel amp, and 2 sets of subwoofer grills. I sold the digital caps to a buddy of mine so you will need at least one capacitor, I had ask xxxxxxbefore, I was told that is what the system is worth but I have found out its not! I am asking xxxxxxx for the amps, and subs!

at first glance I didn't think it was possible with the spacing under the lid being the way it is, but I'm sure it can be done with some extensive metal work, like you said, anything can be done.
