Two questions---Who makes the stereo in the 2002 es 300? And what are the speaker sizes in the front and rear doors? Thanks KEN

I can answer the first question - Pioneer.
The only Lexus model which hasn't used Pioneer for the base stereo system is the IS300, which uses Fujitsu. And there are numerous complaints from IS300 owners of the in-dash changer jamming on those Fujitsu head units.
As for the higher end stereo systems, Lexus first used Nakamichi and now Mark Levinson.

In need of a wiring harness to eliminate the amp in the car to use aftermarket amp and speakers. Wonder if the Avolon uses the same stereo and I need to be searchibng for harness in toyota forums UMMMM And thanks for the heads up

My '88 Supra originally had a Fujitsu Ten stereo, and that was a hunk-o'-gar-bahhhzzge.
Those Japanese just can't make anything.
